Google: Users will get 1 TB of free secure cloud storage from Google

Google Workspace, previously referred to as G Suite, has received a few new enhancements from Google such as 1 TB of free secure cloud storage, advances in email personalization, multi-send and mail merge, as well as plans to expand its availability in new countries.

Earlier Google used to offer 15 GB of storage to every user and similarly extensions had a few price connected to them. Charges are still there however the minimal amount of storage (15 GB) that you can use free of charge has been extended by Google. Now customers can use 1TB of secure cloud storage with none cost.

Multi-send and Mail merge

Google is also adding built-in multi-send and mail merge feature, such as @firstname, in mail merge. You can use mail merge in Gmail to send personalized emails with merge tags like @firstname and @lastname. Multi-send mode allow users to add up to 1,500 recipients in the “To” field and 1 maximum recipient in the “CC” or “BCC” field. Multi-send email can be unsubscribed at any time using the unsubscribe link that is present by default so that recipients can opt out of future messages. This will allow each email recipient to receive completely unique emails that seem to be personally crafted just for them.

Google Workspace: Expansion in new countries

Google is likewise expanding the availability of Google Workspace to numerous new countries and areas: The Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Greece and Argentina.

Google also mentioned in its blog post that “You can store over 100 file types in Drive, including PDFs, CAD files, and images, and you can easily collaborate and edit Microsoft Office files without converting them”.

Google is also working on adding additional features like Premium Meet, e-signature in Google Docs, appointment scheduling and flexible layout in Gmail.
